A robot named Aladdin has taken over Wall Street. As the brainchild of Larry Fink, billionaire CEO of the multinational investment corporation that also is the world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock, Aladdin represents Artificial Intelligence at its extreme.
If it sounds like science fiction, be aware: It’s real. Aladdin controls $21 trillion of the global economy and, according to New York Times best-selling author Roger James Hamilton, it “directs the actions of the U.S. Federal Reserve, every major bank and investment fund on Wall Street and over 17,000 traders.
