Air Fresheners
Air-Cleaning Houseplants:
Indoor plants are beautiful, ornamental and serve a dual purpose. Not only do they turn your house into a home, they also purify indoor air by adding oxygen through their normal process of photosynthesis. Through various studies conducted over the years, it has been found that some plants are more beneficial than others in removing harmful household toxins. You could place a few of these plants around your home to purify the air as well as adding a decorative edge. There are many more varieties, in fact, too many to be listed here.

Homemade Air Freshener:
For this quick and easy air freshener, you will need you will require only 3 ingredients. Combine them in a spray bottle and shake it well before each use.
Method 1 :
- Water
- 1 liter spray bottle
- 20 – 40 drops of essential oil
Method 2:
Combine the following ingredients in a spray bottle. You can use this on clothing, curtains (Especially if you smoke indoors), sofas, bedding, and your bathroom. Shake well before using.
- 100 ml water
- 40 gram baking soda
- 100 ml of lemon juice
Antibacterial Spray:
With these natural ingredients, you can make your own anti-bacterial spray. Mix them in a spray bottle and use as needed.
Caution: Do not use on marble or travertine.
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar
- Optional – 15 drops lavender or tea tree essential oil
