Those of you that know me, are also aware that I have a passion for photography, so whenever I go out my camera usually accompanies me, because you never know what interesting things one may come across to take some photos of. And for those of you who are thinking of moving to Uruguay, I wanted to share with you some of the natural beauty you can expect to see when you live here.
So today the topic is “Wild flowers of Uruguay.
Whenever we drive somewhere I come across all these fascinating wild flowers. I have no idea what any of them are called but I find them beautiful nonetheless, whether in full bloom or in the seeding stage.
Even though we often tend to discard these plants as weeds, or simply ignore them in the wild, they very are very often an interesting subjects matter for photography! What also struck me is the proliferation of wild flowers that tend to bloom in spring and autumn in a large variety of bright colours such as white, yellow, as well as various shades of pink and purples.
I took the photos that you can see below whilst taking a drive in the countryside with some friends, and even though they may not have nice bright vibrant colours they are still fascinating and beautiful in their own way. And besides, at this stage of the plants life it is spreading more seeds to ensure its continued survival. Such is nature!
I hope you enjoyed this little virtual trip through the Uruguayan countryside. All the above photos where taken by Claudia Z. Please leave a comment below if you would like to give some feedback on this post. Thanks for visiting and see you soon!
